Too expensive for a lightweight plastic cover. Should not cost more that £5 max. Took 5 minutes to replace it.

Part was a genuine Hayter part and fitted perfectly. It’s made from exactly the same material as the original part so don’t worry about it being made of a lesser quality. One thing, don’t throw away the spring of your broken part, you’ll need it for the new one, only takes a couple of minutes to fit. Will definitely use Briants again… thankyou

Not sure why, it didn’t seem to have as much pressure on the spring as the old one. Perhaps I fitted it incorrectly, it works fine and shouldn’t snap like the old one did. Great service
