These Half Round Post and Rail Fencing Stakes are around 4-5 inches in diameter (approx’) and are ideal when installing a fence using half round rails. Available in either 1650mm (5ft 6 inch approx’) or 1800mm (6ft approx’). They have been treated to UC4 specification which will greatly extend their lifespan by helping to protect against rotting.

What does it mean when a post is treated to UC4 spec’?

The wood has been kiln dried to around 28% moisture content or less before being pressure treated. This ensures the timber is dry enough to allow the treatment to penetrate deep into the wood, giving a much longer service life than non-UC4 stakes which are available on the market. Because of this treatment these posts have a 15 year expected service life.
